What a wonderful story! I loved the ending, and you have a wonderful voice!

I'm not sure of an easy way to download the stories, but I know of a long and complicated way :)

Perhaps Kim and Eryl could discuss making a podcast? Perhaps a collection of the weeks stories?

The ones on Odeo - if you click on the player a couple of times it will take you to a page where you can download an mp3 version for yourself.

With the Podbean you might have to go to the podbean.com site and search for Eryl or Pat and find their profile pages and see if you can find somewhere to download their stories.

Splendid Pat!! I loved it. What a lovely thing it is to hear your voice finally. I woke my husband up to listen to it too.

Perhaps the chap read the book to the dog instead of letting him read it himself at his own pace . .?

Ah, I see you know dr maroon too. I bumped into him on my son's blog - www.safetinspector.com, and he followed me home to mine. Funny fellow. I have seen Sam problem child bride on my son's site too. Seems a lot of you Brits like my son's writing style. Check it out some time, but beware, sometimes he gets too racy and/or gross, but not often. Like you story --my dad was telling me that joke when I was a child- too many years ago!Brings back memories.

I loved this, the way you tell it, Pat, is splendid. You're a born storyteller. And 'hot nicotine breath' ughh!

Well done Pat! Lovely to hear your voice. I love old fashioned cinemas, with bucket seats and faded velvet curtains. I'm not sure if there are any left in England now. That was obviously a joke that you elaborated into a story, excellent! You've given me an idea.

Does SafeT know his mum's on the loose in the blogosphere?

Pat, I thought I was listening to Eliz. Rex, there for a second.

Cheers.

daphne--I was the one who let SafeT loose in the blogosphere! Really! It was I that told him how much fun it was, then he went to town and sort of left me in the dust. I do not blog as much as I would like. I am busy selling on eBay and being Queen of The Purple Stars.
