The great 42 bus of Fate has plans of its own. You never know when it'll trundle on down your street to knock you down.

Nicely done. Powerful

I don't know if I'm proud or terrified of this one, but writing and recording it helped the moment pass.

Many years ago, there was a Schultz cartoon, with Snoopy lying on his doghouse saying "I don't know about this 'one day at a time' business. Sometimes, half a day at a time is as much as I can think about." It came towards the end of the worst year my family could ever have, made us laugh and helped.

I just got to this site. This was the first story I listened to. Several thoughts went through my mind at once: Your voice sounds almost--almost--exactly as I imagined it. I love its rich timbre and the "accent" I hear. Your simple statement at once haunted me and made me sigh with relief. I also understand those moments, in my own way, for my own very different reasons. I will always sign, on a daily or hourly basis if need be, no matter how far into the spiral I go--that is the contract I have made with myself.
