Introduction: A couple of weeks ago, Pat from Past Imperfect asked about people's brief encounters with complete strangers where a moment was shared. It set me off thinking about a particular moment for me nearly 10 years ago

Brilliant. Beautiful written and read. The genius was in the reflection in the mirror so we could see your troubles while you saw hers.

Thanks Kim. I read it twice so as not to miss a detail. Truly an example of ships that pass in the night. I''m sure you must have given each other a crumb of comfort. I'm glad you wrote it.

What a beautiful encounter - the beauty being in the relation of it and the meaning you took from it. So strange the small things that can help when a larger worry looms.

Gorgeous stuff, Kim. I'm glad you recorded this.

Wow. Thank yo ufor sharing.

I would have liked to have read it...but I liked having it read to me. Especially by someone with a Brit accent. I just love it! :)

Hugs,

I finally listened to this post. Wonderful. Perfect. I so want to tell a story on this site. I just can't get all the technical stuff in line to do it. Hope you read "Across the Street" on my site. The is a post I would love to read aloud.
