I should just say that I've not just swiped Dr Maroon's story but am in fact reading it at his insitence.
I knew you'd be first to add noises. My son suggested it but I felt there was enough to cope with but there is no reason why we shouldn't become better and better. The gang's all here! Goody! I enjoyed that. I want to hear everybody's voice now.
Excellent! Well done, the pair of you.
More!!!
I briefly contemplated running out and getting a microphone, but the more I listen to the recordings on this blog, the more I realize my voice sounds like a muffler gone bad.
Great reading.
Carole! The diversity of voices and stories should be encouraging you, not putting you off - there's room here for all types of tales, voices and styles
Jolly good show, but I thought you were a Scotchman Mr Ayres? Your accent sounds closer to Balham than to Balmoral.
Ah Daphne, that's where reading the small print comes in. I am in fact English, although I've lived in Scotland for nearly 20 years and have a Scottish wife, Scottish children, Scottish stepchildren and Scottish grandchildren. And although I've never worn one, my wife thinks with my calfs I'd look good in a kilt.
So are you going to join us with a tale of your own Daphne? Email me (address on my profile) if you'd like to be added to the contributors :)
My, I'm all of a flutter, beating off invitations with my feather duster. Collaborative novels here, storytelling there, book launches in the middle, there are not enough hours in the day. I must practice my scales on the tape recorder before I commit my larynx to posterity. My vowel sounds need pumping up.
just as amusing as it was when i read it for the first time. i would love to d.l. this for my mp3 player.
